You can request your patient transport 24/7 by phone or via our inquiry form. Please provide us with the pick-up location, the desired destination, the planned time, and all important information regarding the patient’s health condition. Our team will advise you personally and organize the appropriate transport method.
We provide qualified patient transports, intensive care transports, medically accompanied transfers, and return transports within Austria and abroad. This includes, among others, clinic transports, dialysis and radiotherapy transports, flight escorts, as well as wheelchair, disabled, and patient transports. Medical care is individually adapted to the patient’s needs.
A qualified patient transport is required when a patient needs medical care from trained paramedics during the journey. This can be the case, for example, after an operation, with limited mobility, during a transfer between clinics, or on the way to a regular treatment. We will clarify together which type of transport is suitable based on the health situation.
Yes, depending on mobility and health condition, patients can be transported sitting, in a wheelchair, on a stretcher chair, or lying down. Our vehicles are equipped with the necessary facilities for safe and comfortable patient transportation. Please inform us about stairs, narrow access points, or other special circumstances when making your inquiry.
Whether an accompanying person can travel depends on the chosen transport type, available space, and the medical situation. In many cases, an escort is possible. Please indicate this wish when making your inquiry so that we can take it into account during planning.
Whether a doctor’s prescription or a transport voucher is required depends on the reason for the transport and the regulations of the respective insurance provider. For medically necessary journeys, the prescription should ideally be clarified with the treating physician before transport. Our team will be happy to inform you about the information and documents required for organization.
Possible cost coverage depends, among other things, on medical necessity, the doctor’s prescription, the type of transport, and the conditions of the respective insurance provider. Whether direct billing is possible or a deductible applies must be checked on a case-by-case basis. We recommend clarifying cost coverage with your health insurance or insurance company in advance.
Yes, we organize medically accompanied patient transports and return transports within Austria and throughout Europe. Our transports particularly often go to Germany, Italy, France, and Switzerland. Depending on the health condition, transportation is carried out in an ambulance, intensive care transport vehicle, or with medical flight escort.
Urgent clinic transfers and medically necessary transports can also be organized at short notice, depending on availability. Please contact us as early as possible and describe the medical situation and the desired timeframe. Our team will immediately check which transport solution is possible and necessary.
