  • Unfortunately I had to use the services from the Grunes Kreuz for repatriation back to The Netherlands. The driver Ralf did an outstanding job. Very professional, very friendly and very caring, he transported us back home. The equipoment used is really state-of-the art; well equipped. Despite the circumstances it was a pleasure to travel home this way. We felt very safe and in good hands of Ralf to make sure we got home soonest. Definitely a 5 out of 5 service by your organization!!!

  • Consummate professionals, Andrea & Lena, drove me from Innsbruck to Dublin over two days this February. I was unable to fly, and so required the services of Grau Kreuz. I was impressed by Andrea’s driving, which was of a very high standard even late into the evening. Lena is a very kind soul, with excellent patient care. I was really impressed by these two paramedics, who are well suited to the profession. Separately, the new Mercedes ambulance was comfortable, clean and made for an easy drive. I would really commend Lena and Andrea for their excellent work. And it was also a bit of fun practising my German, because the guys are great craic.

  • Ladies and gentlemen of the ADAC and Mr. Fernsebner,

    After a skiing accident through no fault of my own on 06.02.2024, I was taken home from Tauplitz in Austria (D, Werder (Havel)) on 09.02.2024 by a Grünes Kreuz ambulance organized by the ADAC. My daughter and mother were driven by another person in my car.

    We arrived safely, the treatment of the tibial plateau fracture could be started and the operation will take place tomorrow.

    We are all very grateful to you for the great organization of this return transport. Your fast, very friendly and targeted communication, offer of solutions and commissioning of a very good ambulance service helped us beyond all measure and made a lasting impression.

    The Grünes Kreuz from Zell am See with its three outstanding paramedics (Felix, Marco, Daniel) must be given the highest praise. Never in my life have I been looked after and promoted in such a professional, caring and friendly manner.

  • On June 9, 2025, Silvana and Robert picked me up from Pula and transported me back to Switzerland. I was very, very glad that it worked so quickly. I couldn’t have stayed there any longer in that hospital (you can’t even call it that) it was an absolute disaster. Thanks to the great efforts of Silvi and Robert, I was admitted to Schwyz Hospital on Monday evening. I found the friendly, fast journey great; I was looked after, and the time passed quickly. My wife and I would like to thank Silvana and Robert once again for their excellent and professional service. I also owe my second life to both of you. Many thanks to both of you.

  • There are absolutely no suggestions for improvement!!!!!! The entire organization, the process, the competence, but also the charisma of the entire staff was unique and we are – even days later – very, very enthusiastic!!!! We are sooooo happy that we were able to get in touch with you all and were treated royally!!!!

    Unfortunately, we had an accident with our scooter on vacation in Istria/Rovinj (slipped in the roundabout) – as the driver, I had to go to the hospital in Pula: fractured shoulder blade and 7 ribs, thankfully no emergency surgery, but medical repatriation in an ambulance – and my wife with a camper – was necessary. From the first moment of contact with ADAC in Munich (in the middle of the night) – until our return home – we are very enthusiastic and very impressed with what and how everything was organized and carried out for us!!!! It doesn’t get any better than that!!!!!
    All the people on the phone at night with ADAC were great and were able to “alleviate some worries” with all the information and the good organization. Just 2 days later, 4 men from the Grünen Kreuz in Zell am See arrived and took care of us like royalty: pilot/driver Daniel not only brought my wife and luggage and camper home safely and soundly: the personal care and deceleration helped extremely and took away many worries. The other 3: doctor Gasper Rodnik, paramedics Marco and driver Rade were unique in the entire process – highly competent – and despite all that, funny and reassuring in their manner. We felt like VIPs and were well looked after every second!!!!! The fact that there is such a great team that only worried about us with everything was previously unknown to us and has incredibly thrilled us!!!! Even weeks later, we rave everywhere about these great people who helped us sooooo much in our emergency!!!! We would like to see everyone again – but then without an accident or injury!!!! We can only congratulate everyone who is cared for and accompanied by these great people when the need is greatest.   • Dear team at Grünes Kreuz in Zell am See!
    During a late-summer holiday on the Côte d’Azur, I suffered a painful foot injury. After initial treatment at the Louis Pasteur University Hospital in Nice, it was clear that we had to cut our holiday short. We therefore contacted the ÖAMTC protection letter emergency assistance and, a short time later—completely unexpectedly for us—received the offer to be picked up by patient transport from Grünes Kreuz Zell am See. The next morning, our rescuers Michael (Mike) and Daniel set off for Nice and informed us of their arrival by phone in the evening; our return journey was arranged for the following morning. Our two “angels” brought Irene and me home very quickly, pleasantly and extremely comfortably across northern Italy, over the Brenner Pass and via Salzburg to Bad Schallerbach in Upper Austria. They looked after us excellently throughout the entire journey, and we felt very well cared for.
    Many heartfelt thanks, especially to the paramedic team Mike and Daniel, and our very best wishes to both of them.

  • I would like to send a very big thank you to Alex and Flo. After a bicycle accident, you drove Hans sm 24.6.2022 safe and well, lying down from the Salzburg State Hospital to the Diakonkie Clinic in Stuttgart. He was super cared for by you. At the same time Bruno drove me home with our caravan. I would not have been able to do this on my own after Hans’ accident. A super driver and also paramedic (but fortunately I did not need this service). Everything was very well organized. You were very cordial to us, friendly, courteous and careful, are very good and safe drivers. We really appreciated you as an excellent team that worked together and had every situation under control. In short, you are really good professionals. In your care we have always felt safe and very comfortable. Both the rescue by the mountain rescue, the treatment and care in the clinic in Schladming and my transport back to Germany by the Grünes Kreuz Zell am See were incredibly professional, friendly and appreciative.     I would like to say very, very much thanks for my transport from Pula hospital Thursday 10e August. It was really wonderful to experience what the ambulance drivers Hannis and Martina told for me for transport from Pula to the Netherlands. On the way the verzorgung was very well organized!

  • I would like to thank very much Alex and Flo, who brought Hans super to Stuttgart to the hospital. Hans said they were very attentive, nice and helpful. I personally would like to thank Bruno who drove me home from Taching with the caravan. He is a great driver, very pleasant person. Did me with his positive attitude to life and my then bare nerves only good. Many thanks. Hans has been operated on in the meantime and still has a long recovery time ahead of him.
