The two exceptionally professional paramedics, Andrea and Lena, brought me from Innsbruck to Dublin within two days in February. Since I was unable to fly, I relied on the services of Grünes Kreuz.
I was very impressed by Andrea’s driving: she drove exceptionally safely and professionally – even late into the evening. Lena is a very warm person and took excellent care of me. Both impressed me with their competence and humanity and are perfectly suited for this profession.

After a skiing accident through no fault of my own on 06.02.2024, I was taken home from Tauplitz in Austria (D, Werder (Havel)) on 09.02.2024 by a Grünes Kreuz ambulance organized by the ADAC. My daughter and mother were driven by another person in my car.
We arrived safely, the treatment of the tibial plateau fracture could be started and the operation will take place tomorrow.
We are all very grateful to you for the great organization of this return transport. Your fast, very friendly and targeted communication, offer of solutions and commissioning of a very good ambulance service helped us beyond all measure and made a lasting impression.

Unfortunately, we had an accident with our scooter on vacation in Istria/Rovinj (slipped in the roundabout) – as the driver, I had to go to the hospital in Pula: fractured shoulder blade and 7 ribs, thankfully no emergency surgery, but medical repatriation in an ambulance – and my wife with a camper – was necessary. From the first moment of contact with ADAC in Munich (in the middle of the night) – until our return home – we are very enthusiastic and very impressed with what and how everything was organized and carried out for us!!!! It doesn’t get any better than that!!!!!
All the people on the phone at night with ADAC were great and were able to “alleviate some worries” with all the information and the good organization. Just 2 days later, 4 men from the Grünen Kreuz in Zell am See arrived and took care of us like royalty: pilot/driver Daniel not only brought my wife and luggage and camper home safely and soundly: the personal care and deceleration helped extremely and took away many worries. The other 3: doctor Gasper Rodnik, paramedics Marco and driver Rade were unique in the entire process – highly competent – and despite all that, funny and reassuring in their manner. We felt like VIPs and were well looked after every second!!!!! The fact that there is such a great team that only worried about us with everything was previously unknown to us and has incredibly thrilled us!!!! Even weeks later, we rave everywhere about these great people who helped us sooooo much in our emergency!!!! We would like to see everyone again – but then without an accident or injury!!!! We can only congratulate everyone who is cared for and accompanied by these great people when the need is greatest. During a late-summer holiday on the Côte d’Azur, I suffered a painful foot injury. After initial treatment at the Louis Pasteur University Hospital in Nice, it was clear that we had to cut our holiday short. We therefore contacted the ÖAMTC protection letter emergency assistance and, a short time later—completely unexpectedly for us—received the offer to be picked up by patient transport from Grünes Kreuz Zell am See. The next morning, our rescuers Michael (Mike) and Daniel set off for Nice and informed us of their arrival by phone in the evening; our return journey was arranged for the following morning. Our two “angels” brought Irene and me home very quickly, pleasantly and extremely comfortably across northern Italy, over the Brenner Pass and via Salzburg to Bad Schallerbach in Upper Austria. They looked after us excellently throughout the entire journey, and we felt very well cared for.

We would like to thank Mario Fernsebner, Managing Director of Grünes Kreuz Zell am See, Michi and the entire team from the bottom of our hearts, as well as Martin Dänner from Alpha Rettung, who arranged this contact for us.
During our family holiday in Croatia, our mum suffered a severe COPD emergency and was then in intensive care in Zadar in an induced coma and on a ventilator. For us as a family, a time full of fear and despair began. We urgently had to organise a medically suitable repatriation to Germany, because every additional day on the ventilator could have worsened her condition.
At first we had an organised repatriation, but it had to be cancelled at short notice. For us, our world fell apart all over again.
Then Grünes Kreuz Zell am See came along.
Mario, Michi and their team did everything they could to make a suitable transport possible. They put together a complete team, organised the medical requirements, coordinated countless things in the background and kept us informed again and again throughout the entire process.
It was not something we took for granted how much commitment, time and responsibility was taken on here. We always felt that our mum and our family were being taken seriously and that everything was truly being done to bring her home safely.
And that is exactly what happened.
Our mum is back in Germany.
Without Mario, Michi and the entire Grünes Kreuz team, that would not have been possible. As our mum’s children and husband, we are infinitely grateful for that.
We will never forget what you did for us in our hardest time.
At the same time, we would also like to draw attention to how important organisations like Grünes Kreuz are. An intensive care repatriation does not simply mean driving an ambulance from A to B. Behind it are specially trained staff, medical equipment, vehicles, organisation and enormous responsibility. All of that costs money and is by no means something to be taken for granted.
When a family like ours suddenly finds itself in such an exceptional situation, it needs people and organisations that can act.
